The best part of the day, waiting at the end of it.

Ember is a heated, deep-kneading massager for your feet and calves. You sit down. It warms up. The rollers start moving. And for the first time all day, nobody needs anything from you.

The feeling

What it actually feels like

First, the warmth β€” not hot, not timid. The kind of warmth that makes your shoulders drop before your feet have figured out why.

Then the kneading starts: rotating massage nodes working under the arches of your feet and up into your calves, slow and insistent, like someone strong who knows what they're doing and isn't in a hurry.

Most people make an involuntary noise in the first thirty seconds. We've decided to consider that our quality benchmark.

The mechanics

How it works

  1. Sit down and slide your feet in. Two contoured wells hold your feet β€” or flip your legs in for calves.
  2. One touch. Pick your warmth and kneading speed. No app, no Bluetooth, no manual you'll never read.
  3. Stay there. Fifteen minutes is the usual sentence. Few appeal it.

Your evening ritual

The first night, it's a novelty. By the second week, it's the appointment you keep with yourself: shoes off at the door, the good chair, feet in, lights low.

Day's over. It doesn't get to follow you in here.

The build

Made to be touched

Quilted, breathable fabric where your skin lands. A one-touch panel you can find with your eyes closed β€” because they will be. It plugs into the wall and stays by the chair: no batteries, no charging, nothing to remember.

Questions

Asked, answered

How strong is the kneading?

Honest answer: firm but not industrial. With both feet and calves in at once you'll feel a steady, rolling knead; if you want it more intense, rest one leg at a time and let the rollers focus. If you bruise easily or prefer feather-light touch, start on the lowest setting with socks on.

How big is it? Will it fit me?

Ember is a footrest-sized unit that sits flat on the floor β€” roomier inside than the photos suggest. It comfortably fits the large majority of adult feet, socks on or off. If you wear an unusually large size and want to be sure, email hello.clearstack@gmail.com before ordering and we'll confirm fit.

Is the cord long enough?

It's a standard appliance-length cord. Set Ember up within reach of an outlet β€” next to the couch or your favorite chair is where it wants to live anyway. If your room runs long, any household extension cord works fine.

Is it loud?

A low, steady hum while the rollers work. You'll notice it in a silent room and forget it the moment the TV is on.

What if I don't love it?

60 nights, full refund. Email hello.clearstack@gmail.com and a human answers.

The why

Why Wyndown exists

"Wyndown started in my own living room, watching someone I love come home worn out, night after night, and never do a single thing for himself. Everything I found either looked like hospital equipment or felt like a toy. So I built the brand I couldn't find: warm, simple, well-made things for the hour of the day that's actually yours. We start with your feet."

β€” Claire V, Founder

Ember plugs into any standard US outlet. No batteries, no charging, no app. One-touch warmth and kneading for feet and calves.
